Amanda Bastin

Amanda brings the perfect experience to Twin Cups said Nathan Carey owner. She previously managed an outdoor coffee cart in San Diego prior to moving to Santa Barbara to attend UCSB. A customer can come in the rain to get their coffee without getting out of the car, as Amanda is right there handing them their favorite coffee right through their car window.

Amanda is currently a fourth-year history major with an education minor. She is an active member of Kappa Alpha Theta Sorority and has been involved with the sorority for the past three years. Her goal after graduation is to join the Teach for America Program and then eventually teach US History at the high school level.

Amanda’s favorite drink at Twin Cups: Vanilla Chai Tea Latte with lots of whip cream; her favorite live culture frozen yogurt (which tastes like ice cream) is Tart Mango/Strawberry. With only 120 calories per frozen yogurt serving, Amanda says “being an addict to the custom blended fruit yogurts is easy, as they are filling, taste great, are healthy and have very little guilt due to the low amount of calories.”

To try for yourself stop by Twin Cups for a “quick, easy, healthy” snack between the hours of 6:30 am and 4 pm and more than likely the hand through your car window serving you will be Amanda Bastin!
