Thu Mar 10, 2011 | 12:00am

Two separate fires at a home in Summerland caused significant damage early in the morning on 3/8. The first fire, which was called in at 11:56 p.m. the night before, originated in a downstairs bedroom at the home on 2496 Banner Street, and the fire command was dissolved an hour-and-a-half later. Four hours later, though, another fire at the same residence was reported. That fire was also put out. The cause of the fires is under investigation.
