Serban Evaluation Update
Talks Still Ongoing, Nearly 10 Hours and Counting
Overtime turned into double overtime yesterday as the Santa Barbara City College Board of Trustees continued its annual performance evaluation of school president Andreea Serban.
After five hours of closed session deliberations on Monday afternoon and another four-and-a-half hours of similarly closed-door deliberations on Wednesday afternoon, the trustees announced that once again the talk will be continued to a third round of talks at 4 p.m. on June 3.
Any potential outcome of the talk will be publicly announced following next Friday’s meeting in room A211 of the MacDougall Administration building at SBCC.
Due to confidentiality laws governing such types of talks, all parties involved have remained silent as to what exactly has been going on during the nearly 10 hours and counting of deliberations.
