Man Convicted of Attempted Lewd Act with Child

Muhammad Hakim Sayyidel was found guilty of an attempted lewd act on a child and misdemeanor annoying or molesting a child under 18 for an incident at Mission and De La Vina streets in September 2009, when he asked a 13-year-old to perform sex acts on him. This could be the third strike for Sayyidel, who could then be facing 31 years to life depending on that determination.
