A Field of Feasts at Stolpman
The Vineyard/Winery Celebrates Its Terroir
When a wine list starts with Stolpman, you know you’re in good hands. But the list for Feast in the Field gets better, with Palmina and Santa Barbara Winery pouring, too, and Los Alamos’s Full of Life Flatbreads providing the food, from organic salads to whole roasted goats. This feast happens Saturday, June 25, 5 p.m., at the Stolpman Vineyards on Ballard Canyon Road, and as director of operations Peter Stolpman put it, “The party gives us an amazing opportunity to bring people out onto our vineyard and enjoy a meal and wine produced from our land. Roots organic farm has been cultivating 14 acres of our property for a few years now, and even the vegetables have their own ‘Stolpman terroir,’ just like our wine.” As for that wine, here’s a rare chance to see what different winemakers do with the same fruit, as all three wineries will pour their Italian varietals crafted from Stolpman Vineyard grapes.
