A Family Day at the Albertsons Stockman & Dakota Corral

What:

· Cowboy-themed games, including a lasso toss and horseshoes

· Western-style prizes for the winners

· Hourly drawings for ALBERTSONS gift cards

· A Celebrity Grill-Off Showdown to benefit local charities

Visitors also will have the opportunity to chow down on Stockman & Dakota Premium Angus Steak and other favorite outdoor food. All free of charge.

Celebrities participating in the Grill-Off Showdown include:

· Blanca Figueroa Anchor/News Director, KPMR Canal 38 UNIVISION

· Dean Mead, ALBERTSONS Oxnard Store Director

The celebrities will grill-up Stockman & Dakota steaks using their own special recipes. Visitors will be able to sample and vote for their favorite celebrity-prepared steak. The winning grill-master, as determined by visitors’ votes, will receive a $5,000 donation to their charity of choice and bragging rights in the showdown. The second- and third-place celebrities will receive a $2,500 donation each to their charity of choice.

When: 10 a.m.–3 p.m., Saturday, July 9, 2011

11 a.m. –1 p.m. for the Celebrity Grill-Off Showdown; winner to be announced at approximately 1 p.m.
