Hwy. 101 South Coast HOV Information Meetings/Open House Next Week

These meetings will be held in the following locations:

Tuesday, Nov. 15 from 5:30 pm to 8 pm at the Montecito Country Club at 920 Summit Road in Santa Barbara.

Wednesday, Nov. 16 from 5:30 pm to 8 pm at the Carpinteria High School Cafeteria at 4810 Foothill Road in Carpinteria.

Thursday, Nov. 17 from 5:30 pm to 8 pm at QAD Inc. at 100 Innovation Place in Santa Barbara.

A brief presentation will be made at 6:30 pm each evening. The public may choose to attend one of the three meetings as the content will be the same at each meeting.

Caltrans will hold these meetings to provide the public with an update on the project, explain the processes used to develop technical studies and present preliminary findings about where sound walls have been considered. Caltrans staff will be available to answer questions from the public.

The release of the Draft Environmental Document and the public comment period is expected to occur in early 2012.
