Judge Denise de Bellefeuille issued her final statement of decision in favor of Santa Barbara Independent Editor in Chief Marianne Partridge in her lawsuit against the paper’s publisher, Randy Campbell. The statement of decision comes after an August trial in front of the judge. In the final ruling, the judge found Partridge and Campbell had a legally enforceable contract wherein majority-owner Campbell would sell his shares in the newspaper to Partridge.
