Furlough Days Set but Pink Slips Rescinded

With seven furlough days next year, teachers will lose two professional development days on the front end of the year, and both students and teachers will lose five instructional days at the end. The good news is that 34 more teachers who had been pink-slipped will now get their jobs back. Of the 70 positions that were in danger of being cut, only two have not been restored.
