The open house will be held at the Lompoc Recovery Learning Community, 513 North G Street, Lompoc.

The Recovery Learning Community computer training curriculum includes introduction to computers, basic and intermediate computer applications and the Internet. Four hours of instruction per week will be offered at each location. The labs are open for additional 15 hours per week. Computer labs in Lompoc, Santa Maria and Santa Barbara are supported by funding from the Mental Health Services Act/Prop 63 awarded to ADMHS to acquire computers and to hire peer instructors.

“I have been so delighted to be a part of this process where so many people would love to be trained on computers, but they don’t have access. This is an amazing opportunity to provide them these tools,” said Tina Wooton, ADMHS Consumer Empowerment Manager.
