Two sitting Santa Barbara School Board members have decided to call it quits. Annette Cordero, who has served two full terms, said that she wanted to spend more time with her grandchildren, two of whom have been born since she was last elected. Susan Deacon considered running again if no viable candidates threw their hats into the race, but she’d like to travel with her husband, whose work will take him abroad in the near future. Ed Heron, whose seat is also up, has filed papers.
