Enforcement of 72-Hour Parking Limit

This Ordinance took effect on October 4, 2012, 30 days after the Board’s approval.

Under this 72-hour parking limit Ordinance, vehicles parked on County public roads longer than 72 hours are subject to ticketing and towing by the California Highway Patrol. This parking limit applies to all vehicles parked on County public roads, with the exception of detached trailers, which have a 24-hour parking limit.
