Safe Routes to School Project Chugs Along

The Santa Barbara Unified school board gave the county the go-ahead to draft an application for a Safe Routes to School project that would be funded by SBCAG for up to $300,000. This project, in particular, would pave, landscape, and light a path on a district-owned parcel called the Tatum Property that sits roughly between San Marcos High School and El Camino Elementary School and is frequented by parents and students.
