County Issues High Wind Warning

Gusts Expected to Reach 65 MPH

The Santa Barbara County Office of Emergency Management has issued a high wind warning for the area that began right before 5 p.m. Tuesday night and will remain in effect until 7 a.m. Wednesday morning.

Winds — which will be strongest across the Santz Ynez range, especially above Montecito — are expected to reach 25 to 40 mph with gusts of 65 mph. Temperatures will likely fall into the 20s at higher elevations and may cause icy roadways.
