To accommodate a growing number of clients and their changing needs, the Samarkand retirement community recently broke ground on a new $4 million LifeCenter at its Treasure Drive campus. The 9,527-square-foot, two-story, mission-style building, which was designed with input from some of Samarkand’s current residents, will feature a café, a shaded fireplace terrace and patio, an aerobics/multipurpose room, wellness clinic and fitness center, computer lab, office space, and other amenities. Construction is expected to take 14 months.
