The exhibit celebrates cultural dining traditions and the artistic environments in which Mexican gastronomy is experienced.

Visitors will appreciate formal, informal, indoor, and outdoor settings in this three-gallery show. Dining ware by the famous Mexican ceramic studio of Ken Edwards brings to life a Spanish colonial-influenced dining room. Interior design influences by Mexican painter Rufino Tamayo can be observed in a mid-century living room, set for refrescos and antojitos (drinks and appetizers). Patrons will also view an outdoor patio featuring Mexican glass, equipales furniture, and much more. In the museum’s scenic kitchen, the renown pineapples of Patamban will be highlighted through a documentary screening on the making of these unique beverage receptacles.
