White Fire Fully Contained
Burned 1,984 Acres of Wilderness
The White Fire, which broke out six miles north of Santa Barbara off Paradise Road Monday afternoon, is 100 percent contained after burning 1,984 acres but no structures.
The cause, officials say, is still under investigation. There were no injuries or fatalities. One structure was damaged by the fire, which cost an estimated $2.89 million to fight.
There are 628 personnel being demobilized from the fire, according to officials.
