On October 8, 2013, the City of Santa Barbara sent out approximately 46,000 ballot packages to the registered voters in the City of Santa Barbara. The packets were stuffed by machine and should have included an official ballot, prepaid postage return envelope, and Voter Information Pamphlet. Due to the volume and the fact that it is completed by machinery, it is not rare to have some instances occur where there are materials, such as the ballot, since it is the smallest size enclosure, missing from the packets. This occurs in almost every jurisdiction conducting City elections.

Any voters who have not received their packets or have discovered that there are materials missing from their packets may call the City Clerk’s Office at (805) 564-5309 for a replacement.

Voters are encouraged to return their ballots by mail in the prepaid postage envelope or deliver the completed ballot to the City Clerk’s Office at 735 Anacapa Street, during regular business hours.

For more election-related information or questions, please contact the City Clerk’s Office at (805) 564-5309, or visit www.SBCityVote.org.
