After 11 years as Goleta’s Public Works Director, Steve Wagner is moving on to become the assistant general manager and assistant district engineer for the Goleta Sanitary District; his City salary is $163,780 and his new salary will be $176,000. Wagner said he is “excited” about his new job, calling his time at Goleta “a great run.” His last day will be 3/28; the city is working on a replacement plan.
