SANTA BARBARA, California – March 14, 2014 – Business Leaders, Business Owners, and Business Coaches join forces to provide a One Time, One Place, Interactive Business Convention. The purpose is summed up in their tag lines: Connect, Learn, and Network.

The convention has been designed to facilitate the development of business relationships, connecting individuals, and bringing new hope and encouragement to all who attend and participate in this event.

The 2014 Santa Barbara Business Expo will be taking place on Saturday, April 5th, 2014, at the Fess Parker’s Doubletree Resort and Hotel located at 633 E. Cabrillo Boulevard, Santa Barbara, CA, in the Santa Barbara Ballroom. The Expo features Business Exhibitors who provide every service a business needs to grow successfully. Services include Branding, Leadership Coaching, Financial Planning and Services, Web Design, Social Media Optimization, and more. Experts will be sharing secrets of their success and tips on how you can succeed too.

Acknowledging the difficulty for business owners to add employees to their payroll, the expo will be featuring The Connection Corner, where needs are met with wants – those seeking work, those seeking help, and those open to trade. The Connection Corner will include a posting board. In addition to self-matching, staffing companies may facilitate finding employment as well.

Other features of the 2014 Santa Barbara Business Expo include an Author’s Showcase area, where authors may feature their books, sell and sign. Ellen Reid, Founder of Beverly Hills Book Awards and Indie Excellence Awards will be one of the speakers, and will speak on how to publish your book independently.

The Gold VIP tickets give access to the exclusive Speaker’s Stage area, with premium seating for learn from experts in those crucial areas of business: Business Strategies, Newest Technologies, Finding Money, Branding, Leadership, and Publishing Your Book.

The Emcees for the Expo Stage will be Shelby Sim and Calla Gold. Speakers include Dr. Minette Riordan, Entrepreneur Coach on answering “What Do You Do?” from a Marketing and Branding perspective; Patty DeDominic, COO at Maui Mastermind on “Leadership, Stewardship, & Impact”, Robin Eschler, CEO of Social Impact Marketing will be moderating a Small Business Funding Panel with Melissa Moreno, Director the Small Business Development Center (SBDC), Devon Johnson, Loan Fund Manager at WEV, Gary Kravatz representing SCORE and speaking on Angel Funding. Guest Speaker from Nashville, TN, is Ernie Halter, a successful independent songwriter/producer to speak on Crowd funding, to share how he raised $36K in a matter of weeks – how to launch, and common pitfalls to avoid.

Speaking on Technology is Taylor Reaume, CEO, The Search Engine Pros, and Nick Cavarra of Constant Contact and Social Punch Marketing. Calla Gold, CEO and Founder of S.M.A.R.T. ( Social Media Action Relationship Team) will be speaking on Using Online Networking to Increase Your Off-Line Networking Results. Sloane Reali, CEO, Vocal Coaching for the Stars, will share her contagious energy as she encourages everyone with “The Art of Being Heard”, how to present you and your business with confidence and an effective call to action!

The 2014 Santa Barbara Business Expo (SBBE), Art Show and Marketplace is founded and directed by Gino and Sandy Goe, founders of the Women’s Community Business Network (WCBN) in Santa Barbara, and business owners and entrepreneurs. Both organizations are founded on biblical principles: Honor God and Serve Others. The SBBE Executive Planning team consists of local business owners and professionals who share the desire to facilitate the development of healthy relationships in the business community, connecting business owner needs with resources; and encouraging creative solutions to new challenges.

The Expo will be a benefit for the Non-Profit, Hope Refuge (www.HopeRefuge.org), with the vision of providing safe restorative homes for girls rescued from the sex traffic trade in America, offering a residential program to address the hurt and trauma of sexual exploitation, focusing on empowering them toward their dreams and destinies.

A Benefit Concert will follow the Expo at The Guitar Bar, located at 137 Anacapa Street, from 7pm-10pm. The Benefit Concert is directed by Lisa Goe, Nashville musician and songwriter.
