Drought
Flying crows cry out of thirst.
The sun strikes zenithal: light darkens.
Dawns,
full moon, ungraspable,
flees sinking in to the sea to drink salty water.
Out green is dull.
Up sky is blinding empty.
Creeks run down silent with delusion.
With flaking throats frogs sing a claim to the stars.
Rocks crack with a numb scream.
Animals, plants
shrink and dream.
Man forgets.
Drought in my skin.
Bring me loud and loaded clouds
I am craving.
