The National Weather Service has issued a “winter storm watch” for parts of Southern California this weekend, including the mountain regions of Santa Barbara County. On the South Coast, the rain could start falling on Friday night, with increasing likelihood on Saturday, when thunderstorms are forecasted. Showers are expected on Sunday too, and could occur in small spurts through Tuesday morning.
