Email Questions
The controversy over Hillary Clinton’s email seems to miss one important point. If as she claims and as the FBI has reiterated, many of the emails were improperly marked or not even identified as classified, an obvious question to ask is who sent it? It seems to me the responsibility for marking a document belongs to the person who intends to send it.
Also it is incredulous that anyone working with classified information would be allowed to send it over an unsecure link like the Internet. Was Hillary’s server equipped with encryption software so that it could receive an encrypted message? And if she did receive an unencrypted message that should have been marked classified, the breach in security is solely with the sender. Has anyone asked questions about the senders of these emails?
Of course, Hillary would bear responsibility for any emails that she sent that should have been classified. But then even to do so would require a server with encryption software. Did Hillary’s server have such capability? These and many other questions should be cleared up before ganging up on Hillary.
