In his enormously successful books, John Grey has made a crucially important point: Men are from Mars. Especially in the last hundred years, the male leaders of nations and other combative groups have a woeful record of massive killings that were unnecessary, with little or no attempt at negotiation. In his recent book Vanity Wars, Daniel Harbaugh makes the point that this country’s recent wars, Vietnam, Iraq, and Afghanistan, could have been easily avoided with no risk. And that Bush and Cheney, particularly, enriched themselves in these mass murders.

Perhaps it’s time to give women a chance to avoid further mass destruction.

Let’s not only vote Hillary Clinton in, but also support women as leaders all over the world, and not just administrative leadership, but also military. All of what is called “defense” would have women in charge, so that each country could become more defensive and less offensive. Not only the countries as a whole, but also the fighting forces could be led by women generals and officers: Males could serve only as soldiers.

Men have had their try at being peaceful, let’s give women a chance.
