Rand-less

In his article last week, Jerry Roberts makes reference to the “GOP’s Ayn Rand Congress,” which is as demagogic and idiotic as Republicans referring to Obama as our “Marxist president.”

One would hope that a veteran political reporter would be hip to the fact that the overwhelming majority of Republicans’ political stances on civil liberties, invasive wars, corporate welfare/subsidies, the war on drugs, government spying on citizens, etc. are not based on Rand’s writings on these issues, to put it mildly.
