Hurricane Marie sent huge swells to Los Angeles County, but surfers in Santa Barbara enjoyed some fun-sized waves, captured here on Saturday and Sunday, September 5 and 6. The backsplash coming off the Breakwater was especially high and made for some dramatic scenery. The photos were taken at Butterfly Beach, Leadbetter/Shoreline Park, and from the Wharf.
