Original story: At 8:15 a.m. on Thursday, Santa Barbara Police Department was made aware of a 9-1-1 service outage for T-Mobile and AT&T customers in Santa Barbara. Texts can still be sent to 9-1-1.
Those who need emergency service can call SBPD’s dispatch center at 805-882-8900 or send a text to 9-1-1.
At this time, the cause and duration of the outage is not known.
