Oprah to Host Fundraiser for Obama

Oprah Winfrey has announced she will be holding a fundraising event for presidential hopeful Barack Obama at her home in Santa Barbara. Admission to the gala will be $23,000-the highest monetary amount that an individual can contribute to a candidate during the primaries. However, groups that contribute at least $25,000 will be able to attend a VIP reception, and those who raise at least $50,000 can attend a VIP dinner.
