McKeon-Phillips Winery Cabernet Franc Wins Best In Show

McKeon-Phillips Winery 2006 Cabernet Franc wins BEST IN SHOW at the 2011 American Fine Wine Competition!!!

We are proud to announce this amazing honor!

This is a heavily entered and well respected competition held each year!

Out of 600 American wines they chose our 2006 Cabernet Franc as BEST IN SHOW!

We encourage you to swing by the tasting room

to re-introduce yourself to this amazing wine!

This beautiful garnet colored wine presents a soft nose with hints of smoke and cherry. This wine is fruit forward, yet refined. More herbal and vegetative than its Bordelaise relatives, this vintage also displays some spice and hints of plums and violets. The wine has great structure with soft tannins. It is a sturdy wine that is smooth in its finish and has the potential to age well. This wine is very similar to the great Bordeauxs.

We are pleased to announce that this particular vintage just won BEST IN SHOW at the 2011 American Fine Wine Competition! Our Cab Franc won the best red - overall, in a field of 600 wines!

We are proud to offer you this award-winning selection…Enjoy!
