Seriously? They decided against advertising? Amazing. The ad departments at newspapers fund the newsroom, operations, etc, etc, etc, etc, etc. Why in the world did they think they could be successful without a business plan? No company can exist without sales, how did they miss that? Ego? Who knows?

The ad departments at newspapers fund the newsroom, operations, etc, etc, etc, etc, etc. Why in the world did they think they could be successful without a business plan? No company can exist without sales, how did they miss that? Ego? Who knows?
It's too bad, their mission was admirable.
