Why is Margaret Connell's column not in print? I'm a single mother of three kids, work full time and read the Independent on my break at work. Rarely, late at night do I go online and catch up on this column.
I was born and raised here in Goleta, but don't know half the information Margaret talks about. General Plan? Development? Workshops and council meetings? She makes it all understandable to me. The Selma Rubin story is great, I never even heard of her and I was here in 1970.
If this is true for me, it must be true for others. The Independent should print Margaret Connell's column so the general overworked masses can have access to it. I don't have time to sit in Starbucks with my overpriced latte and laptop...
