Heroin Dealer Arrested in I.V.

The arrest of 41-year old Aden Perez on Thursday, April 12 marked the close of a moth-long investigation for the Santa Barbara County Sheriff’s Narcotics Detectives. Perez was served with a search warrant at his Isla Vista home and soon thereafter arrested under suspicion of dealing heroin.

A search of Perez’s apartment-located on the 6700 block of Abrego Road-yielded approximately ½ an ounce of heroin, along with a number of other items often linked to the sale of narcotics. Perez is currently being held at the Santa Barbara County Jail, with a bail set at $30,000.

Detectives began investigations following what they cite as an overall “increase in heroin on the streets in all areas of Santa Barbara County in the last several months.” Perez is considered to be a street-level heroin dealer.
