ELC Technologies of Santa Barbara, developer of enterprise and Web technology, has sold its embeddable shopping cart to Buy.com for use in the latter’s new Garage Sale service. The cart enables content publishers to sell products directly form their Web sites. ELC, founded in 1991, powers Ruby on Rails Web applications.
