Sex Offender Denied Movement Privilege

Kenneth Rasmuson, a 47-year-old convicted sex offender, appeared in an L.A. court, hoping to move out of Santa Barbary County. He was not granted authorization to relocate because the judge said his claim of inability to find housing in Santa Barbara was inadequate. The judge is willing to consider a change of locale, but the defense attorney has to present a sensible claim. Rasmuson will return to court in May.
