The Really, Really Free Market

The idea of a world without money might terrify some, but organizers of this market encourage people to come, share, and enjoy. Be there with family and friends this Sunday, February 24, from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. in Alice Keck Park Memorial Garden on the corner of Santa Barbara and Arrellaga streets. No trade, no barter, everything is absolutely free for all members of the community. There will be vegan/vegetarian food and various workshops on a wide range of skills. Things like clothing, art, and furniture will be available as well as music and games. An important aspect of the market is the exchange and interaction between participants so you are encouraged to bring anything you’d like to contribute.
