Robbing the Disabled

I’m in the most currently cheated and the most politically voiceless minority in California, especially under plutocratic bully Schwarzenegger’s governorship, the disabled poor. Republicans relentlessly cut funds for every benefit we receive, and Democrats relentlessly dilute these benefits by adding-on non-disabled, semi-poor, and foreign recipients unfairly. My disabled poor experience has included gratuitous eviction, medical and dental malpractice, sane-sober government-causes homelessness, and even periodic malnutrition. Now, I am suffering yet another government-causes torture: A severely broken leg has caused me to need convalescent care (per also having chronic fatigue, severe spinal arthritis, simultaneous flu, etc.). All “allowed” facilities were full. Needed motorized wheelchair: Denied. Needed emergency in-home care: No longer provided on emergency basis, plus nonprofits charge unaffordably. Only available doable option: Wait one month for “necessary” social worker, two more weeks processing, then two more weeks for a second agency to send caregiver list! During the entire 26 years I was a disabled, yet working, taxpayer, beneficiaries in the same circumstances had all of the above needs fully met within seven days. Arnold’s and earlier robberies of the disabled poor are already borderline atrocity. Please explain this to all elected officials before the budget is written. Ask them to increase (not cut) funds for essential social programs and for education, no matter what else the have to cut to do so. Save California’s integrity.
