Goin’ to a Garden Party

This weekend, the Santa Barbara Botanic Garden (1212 Mission Canyon Rd.) is hosting a show and sale of artwork by Southern California Artists Painting for the Environment (SCAPE), who express on canvas their interpretations of the Botanic Garden and other S.B. landscapes. A percentage of the sales will go to help support the garden’s conservation, research, horticulture, and education programs. Check it out on Saturday-Sunday, April 26-27, from 10 a.m.-4 p.m., in the garden’s Courtyard. : While you’re there, check out the Spring Plant sale, where you’ll find an array of Pacific Coast Hybrid irises as well as decor for your garden, ranging from birdhouses to wind chimes to pots.
