Saturday, May 10, combines two of my favorites: wine and running! The Santa Barbara Wine Country Half-Marathon kicks off at 7 a.m. at Sagunto Street in Santa Ynez, ending in Solvang Park at the Wine & Music Festival, which runs until 12:15 p.m. The festival, which begins at 9:30 a.m. with the race’s awards ceremony, features more than 10 wineries; runners receive complimentary tastings while race supporters can purchase the tasting and commemorative wine glass for $15. Tasters also get special pricing on wine and other items throughout the day at select Solvang businesses and wine stores just by showing off their Wine & Music Festival glass.
