Endangered Species

The Wildling Art Museum presents a lecture by author and filmmaker Michael Tobias called The Art of Saving Endangered Species, in which he will address current world strategies for protecting endangered habitat and species around the globe. Drawing upon his 40 years of field research in nearly 80 countries, Tobias will discuss the places where conservation biology and animal protection are working, from Peru to Namibia to the Antarctic to the Persian Gulf to India to areas across Europe and the United States. Check it out Wednesday, July 23, at 7:30 p.m., at Stacy Hall in St. Mark’s Episcopal Church (2901 Nojoqui St., Los Olivos). Non-members $10; members $5.
