Death 10-9

Vince Falcone, husband of Santa Barbara City Councilmember Iya Falcone, died at age 65 on 9/6 of an apparent heart attack at his home. A graphic designer and data manager by profession, Falcone was a driving force within South Coast Democratic Party circles over the past 12 years. He first worked to rehabilitate the Democratic Central Committee and then later to defend it from the onslaught of youthful progressive party activists four years ago. A memorial mass is scheduled for 2 p.m. on 10/10 at Our Lady of Sorrows church.
