Call for Veterinary Hotline

The letter entitled “Unfilled Need“, by Judy Weisman, who couldn’t get help for her dying dog, touched my heart. Surely there can be organizations among the 60 veterinarians in Santa Barbara-Goleta to right this omission in small animal care.

If there is 911 for human beings, is it a possibility to have a veterinary hot line? And a listing of special services as a humanitarian outreach to pet owners also.—Helen Vance
