Notes on Cupcake Camp

Here’s your chance for a camp that doesn’t evoke Susan Sontag or Billy Bratzinski who stuck your hand into warm water while you were sleeping and made you pee your cot at Camp Led-to-Therapy. Nope, this is Cupcake Camp Santa Barbara, a one-afternoon event on Sunday, July 25, 1-4 p.m., at Fess Parker’s DoubleTree Resort that not only promises to put the frosting on your delicious day but also offers a cupcake eating contest, a Betsey Johnson Party Dress Fashion Show, and a “Cute as a Cupcake” Fashion Runway Parade.
