Angela Philips, onetime personal assistant to Pat Nesbitt — who is founder, chairman, and CEO of Windsor Capital Group — was sentenced on 9/7 to six years in state prison after pleading no contest to four counts of felony grand theft. Authorities alleged Philips embezzled more than $850,000 from Windsor Capital through the diversion of checks and credit cards. She was able to pay $42,000 in restitution, and an insurance company covered most of the rest of Nesbitt’s loss.
