The fall term for Santa Barbara City College’s Continuing Education Division started Monday, September 13 with about 600 class sections offered across a wide variety of subject areas. Approximately 85 percent of these classes are state-supported and free to students.

In addition to classes that were listed in the printed schedule, more sections of some of the most popular classes were added and are listed online. Space is still available in some classes and prospective students are encouraged to view the online schedule for courses in such areas as Parent Education, Family & Consumer Sciences, Short-Term Vocational Programs, Health & Safety, English as a Second Language, Citizenship, Adult High School/G.E.D., and Education Programs for Older Adults (55 and over). Classes for Older Adults continue to be open to all adults, and include courses in arts, crafts, literature, music, finance, psychology and communication.

Continuing Education has expanded its website with more information including an extensive section of frequently asked questions and answers. To register, view details about all classes, or for general information, go to the website.
