Kissing Frogs
Learn About Frogs at Princess Day at the Zoo
Did you know that the Australian rocket frog can leap more than 2 meters (that’s more than 50 times its body length)? Or that all toads have poison glands behind their eyes? You can learn even more facts about frogs and other amphibians at Princess Day at the Zoo. While there (most likely) won’t be a frog that turns into a prince, several famous princesses will be there, including Snow White, Sleeping Beauty, and Cinderella. There will also be crafts and games and animal appearances. Feel free to dress in your finest princess attire. Saturday, March 12, 10 a.m.-2 p.m., S.B. Zoo (500 Niños Dr.). Free with admission. Early 9 a.m. entrance for S.B. Zoo Members. For more information, call 962-5339 or visit santabarbarazoo.org.
