Agricultural Education Campaign Series Aims to Increase Local Awareness About Farming and Ranching

In an effort to teach Santa Barbarans about food and farming practices in the county, the S.B. County Ag Futures Alliance (AFA) will present Agriculture in Santa Barbara County: The Farm to Fork Series. The four-part series will take a look at “agriculture from the production, processing, distribution, and consumer perspectives, among others,” according to a press release. Part I is An Introduction to Our Local Farming Community and will include a panel of farmers, natural resource experts, and County Ag Commissioner Cathleen M. Fisher. Free; refreshments provided.
