Two men were detained by Santa Barbara police officers early this morning after their car careened into Mission Creek near Kimberly Avenue and Mason Street.
According to a statement issued by the City Fire Department, the men had tried to run away from the scene of the wreck at 1:57 a.m. when they were apprehended. It took crews around three hours to remove the mangled car.
No additional information on the men is available at this point.
