Jail in Lockdown After Fight

Santa Barbara County Jail is currently in lockdown after a fight in the exercise yard this afternoon, according to Sheriff’s Department spokesperson Drew Sugars. Three inmates were injured in the fight, which happened around 3:45 p.m., and two were taken to the hospital for treatment.

The jail went into lockdown as is standard procedure when such an event occurs.
