Trial Date Set for Gillespie Shooter

A tentative trial date of 10/17 has been set for Jack and Rebecca Mills, a Lompoc couple accused of shooting a 31-year-old man in the face on Gillespie Street on 3/1. The shooting apparently occurred at the front door of the man’s home. No arrests were made for roughly two weeks, until the Santa Barbara Police Department, acting on one of roughly 100 tips, arrested the couple in Nevada.
