Santa Barbara Sheriff’s detectives arrested 22-year-old Ryan Makowski for allegedly having sex with a teenager he met while working at Santa Ynez High School as an assistant volleyball coach. The two reportedly met last spring. According to Sheriff’s Department spokesperson Drew Sugars, Makowski was booked into Lompoc Jail on Tuesday, August 23, and is being held on $100,000 bail. Due to the victim’s age, no other information will be released about the case, said Sugars.
